Cinnamon Flan

I remember having this as a child,it was one of those treats that we had on a rare occassion. If I had know how easy it was to make I would have made it myself as a child. It has a strong cinnamon spicy flavor so may not appeal to all but worth a try.

1/2 Cup Sugar
2 tblespns water
Custard..
6 eggs
2 cups milk
1/3 Cup Sugar
1 teaspn Vanilla essence
1/2 teaspn ground cloves
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Mix the custard ingreients together set aside
Combine sugar and water in small pot until sugar is dissolved. Boil uncovered without stirring till mixture starts to turn light golden
Pour the mixture over the base of a round cake tin. Pour the custartd mix on top and add the cake tin to a water bath.(A baking tray with water)
Bake in moderate oven for around 35 mins till set
Remove and cool for a couple of hrs in fridge serve with cream
