This is the easiest and cheapest way over the years I have found to make Scones, I once had a small tearoom called Tanjil cottage this recipe made the work easy and I never had to stress the scones were always perfectwhether they would rise beautifully they are real easy to make just don’t overwork the dough
Lemonade Scones
1 Cup Lemonade
3 Cups S/R Flour
1 Cup Cream
pinch salt
Add lemonade and cream a pinch salt to flour mix to form soft dough
Place on a floured bench roll about 4cm thick, cut with a cutter or rim of glass Place the cutters into flour so doesn’t stick place on floured trays brush with milk
Bake 200◦C
Till golden brown about 10-15mins
